Meals and Nutrition

Three regular meals—breakfast, lunch and dinner—are prepared daily by our onsite chef. You will find that our meals are both nutritious and great tasting. You can also request a snack if you get hungry between meals. For residents that are feeling under the weather, meals can be brought to your suite.

If you have any special dietary restrictions or nutritional needs, please inform our staff.

Telephone and TV Service

Each room is outfitted with a phone jack and a TV hookup. Telephone services are the responsibility of each resident, including all costs. We recommend that you contact Telus at least a few weeks in advance of your arrival if you are interested in immediate telephone service. We do provide basic cable free-of-charge to our residents, but you must provide the television set.

Housekeeping and Laundry

Leave the cleaning to us. We provide weekly housekeeping services and laundry service. You can also make regular calls to a professional drycleaner.

Leisure Activities

Our activity director plans a schedule of diverse activities for the enjoyment of all residents. Feel free to suggest any activities that you would like to see offered. You may also request library books be delivered directly to the Manor from the Capital Regional Library. Offerings include large-print books and audiotapes.


Located on Dallas Road, we are within walking distance of many shops and beautiful scenery. There are a number of walkways set up directly along the beach. If you would like to travel farther into the city, there is a bus route nearby that travels directly to downtown Victoria, which is about 5 minutes away. We also have a private bus that is available for outings.


With safety in mind, our front doors are locked after dusk. If entering the building after-hours, a call bell may be used to summon a staff member. All rooms are also equipped with a 24-hour emergency call system.


All residents are encouraged to obtain personal property and third-party liability insurance coverage.
